Die Turbo Raven ist ein Voll-GfK/CfK Mitteldecker, gesponsort von Oracle und speziell entwickelt für den bekannten amerikanischen Showflugpiloten Wayne Handley.
Sie wurde für extremen Kunstflug ausgelegt und ist mit einem Turboprob mit 750 PS sehr stark motorisiert. Das Flugzeug, welches für Belastungen von +/- 16 G ausgelegt wurde hält jede Menge Weltrekorde. So ist die Rollrate unglaubliche 450 Grad pro Sekunde, die Steigrate ist 3.000 Meter in einer Minute und die Höchstgeschwindigkeit liegt bei extrem schnellen 480 km/h.
The Turbo Raven is a full composite monoplane, sponsored by Oracle and developed for the well known american show pilot Wayne Handley.
It’s built for extreme aerobatics and it is extremly powered with an engine of 750 horse power. The plane, which is designed for a maximum load of +/- 16G, holds a lot of world records. So the roll rate is 450 degrees per second what is unbelievable, the climb rate is 3.000 meters in one minute and with a maximum speed of 480 km/h the Turbo Raven is also very fast.
Das Modell / the model
Unser sehr imposantes XXL Modell ist ein Nachbau im Maßstab 1:2,14 und mit vielen Scaledetails des Originals versehen.
Um bei dieser Größe ein Abfluggewicht unter 25 kg zu erreichen, wird der Rumpf, die Leitwerke sowie die Winglets in GfK/CfK-Vakuum-Sandwich-Technologie in höchster Qualität produziert. Die Tragflächen hingegen werden aus sehr leichtem Styro-Balsa-Sandwich gefertigt, sind komplett verschliffen und mit Hohlkehle an den Querrudern versehen. Als Antrieb dient ein Turboprop-Triebwerk (z.B. JetCat SPT10 oder SPT15) oder auch zwei in Reihe geschaltete starke Elektromotoren (z.B. zwei Hacker Q100). Die Flugeigenschaften der Turbo Raven sind sehr gutmütig und die Landung ist auch auf kleineren Plätzen dank der geteilten Querruder mit Butterfly-Stellung problemlos möglich.
Wir bieten für das Modell auch das passende Zubehör, wie ein detailliertes Cockpit, einen passenden Spinner, ein abgestimmtes Beleuchtungsset, usw. an.
Our very impressive XXL model is a replica in a scale of 1:2,14 with a lot of scale details of the original.
To achieve a take-off weight under 25 kg in this big size, the fuselage, the tail and the winglets are produced in the highest quality of fiberglass and carbon fiber vacuum-sandwich-technology. The wings are manufactured in a very light-weight styro-balsa-sandwich, they are completely sanded and fitted with a hollow fillet at the ailerons. The ideal engine is a turboprob (e.g. JetCat SPT10 or SPT15), or two proper electric motors in series (e.g. two Hacker Q100). The flight characteristics of the Turbo Raven are very good natured and the landing is easy to handle also on smaller airfields because of the splitted ailerons for butterfly position.
We offer all the equipment for the model, such as a detailed cockpit, a scale spinner or a appropriate lighting set, etc.
